By downloading, installing, or using the Happy Hour mobile application ("App"), operated by Happy Hour Digital LLC ("Happy Hour"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. We may update these Terms at any time; your continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use Happy Hour. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. We reserve the right to request proof of age at any time and to terminate accounts that do not meet this requirement.
To use Happy Hour, you must create an account using Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In, or email and password. You agree to:

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or termination.
Happy Hour facilitates connections between users but does not organize, supervise, or attend meetups. You acknowledge and agree that:
If you feel unsafe at any time, leave immediately and contact local authorities if necessary.
You retain ownership of content you post (profile information, messages, photos). By posting content, you grant Happy Hour a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with operating the App.
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or our community standards. Reported content is reviewed by our team, and we may take action including content removal, account warnings, or account termination.
Happy Hour uses location data to provide its core functionality. You understand that:

You may block any user at any time. Blocked users will not be able to see your profile or interact with you. You may report users for violations including harassment, spam, inappropriate content, or other misconduct. Reporting a user automatically blocks them for your immediate safety. Users who receive 3 or more reports may be automatically hidden from the platform pending review.
The Happy Hour App, including its design, features, functionality, code, graphics, and trademarks, is owned by Happy Hour and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the App without our written permission.
The App uses third-party services including Firebase (Google Cloud), Apple Sign-In, and Google Sign-In. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. Happy Hour is not responsible for the practices of third-party services.
You may delete your account at any time from the Profile settings within the App. Upon deletion, your profile, messages, hosted meetups, meetup attendance, Coffee Crew memberships, invites, waitlist entries, block records, check-in history, profile photo, and Firebase authentication account will be permanently removed from our servers.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for violations of these Terms, harmful behavior, or any other reason at our sole discretion.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Happy Hour and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, personal injury, or property damage arising from your use of the App or interactions with other users, regardless of whether we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Happy Hour and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your interactions with other users.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
